A1 Quattro or RS1?

Several mysterious images of an Audi A1 taken from the European trademark office database have surfaced as the Audi RS1 according to JokeForBlog.

Upon initial inspection, the car appears to be an A1 Quattro but it features a monotone appearance and RS style five-spoke alloy wheels. This could imply photos are slightly misleading or the car is a completely different model - possibly the RS1.

We're still on the fence, but the hatchback has an aggressive body kit with new bumpers, revised side skirts and a prominent rear wing.

The A1 Quattro was powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that developed 256 HP (188 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. The RS1, on the other hand, is expected use a detuned version of the TT-RS' 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine.

The truck grill front is ugly, this is just a polo for badge whores. Other manufactures offer much better driving cars for the price, which is exposing the A1 and overpriced car with poor driving dynamics.

To be fair, Audi RS and BMW M models aren't hard to guess, because they all have the same bodykit.

A1 is already not a good looking car, and this TTRS front bumper makes it even worse if it comes with this design!

Funny how tastes differ. I think the A1 is the best looking car in its class and I would love to own one

In my opinion the rear is not good looking. The front is nice with S line package but still the rear is the major problem. A1 indeed is a good car but if they can fix the rear it will be perfect.

You cant judge a car by the front or rear, the whole car is bad and low sales are confirming that, I think the competition from Mini and especially Alfa Romeo MiTo are much nicer little cars.

all the RS models have the same kind of bumper as it is a complete serie, like BMW M and Mercedes AMG...

Audi design is like chocolate. Sweet to perfection, but when you have so much across the whole range it simply becomes vomiting. Unless I see something new from Audi and some differentiation among the models I ain't interested

While the 5cyl has a much better engine note, it will be quite heavy for a car of this size.

Screw a detuned 2.5l, throw in the S3's 2.0l four pot; one less cylinder and probably the same power expected from the detuned 2.5
