Nissan has prepared a one-off Dark Knight-themed version of the Juke Nismo with typical Batman accents.

It is based on the Juke Nismo and was created to celebrate Nissan's collaboration with Warner Bros and the launch of the latest Batman trilogy on DVD and Blu-Ray on December 3. It has the same 1.6-liter turbocharged engine connected to a 6-speed manual sending power to front wheels, providing a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 7.8 seconds.

The Nismo body kit, upgraded suspension and modified interior are part of the package, along with a matt black paint and a shark fin antenna. The typical Nismo badging is still here, plus aluminum Bat badges, black 18-inch alloys with red detailing which match the pinstripe on the sills and bumpers.

Inside it gets Bat logos on the kickplates, reflective Bat badges on the headrests, suede-trimmed Nismo sports seats and downlighters installed under the door mirrors.

This one-off Juke will be given to the winner of the Thrill Test that runs until February 28. Go to www.builttothrill.co.uk to enter the competition. The winner will be announced in March.

The Dark Knight has risen – in a special one-off Nissan Juke Nismo. To celebrate Nissan’s partnership with Warner Bros and the release of the third film in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy on DVD and Blu-Ray 3rdDecember, Nissan has produced a truly unique car.

Called The Dark Knight Rises™ Juke Nismo, the one-off machine features a host of Batman-inspired details that will make the lucky owner the envy of every movie fan and car buff.

Based on the new Juke Nismo, which goes on sale in January 2013, The Dark Knight Rises™ Juke Nismo features the same 200PS 1.6-litre turbocharged engine driving the front wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox - giving it a 0-62mph time of 7.8 seconds - as well as a Nismo bodykit, uprated suspension and enhanced interior.

But in addition, it has a whole host of Batman-inspired details that will make the driver feel just like Bruce Wayne.

Matt black paint gives a menacing look reminiscent of Batman’s Tumbler, while a shark fin antenna replaces the standard car’s conventional aerial. In addition to Nismo badging, there are aluminium

Bat badges on the front grille and tailgate while the unique gloss black 18-inch alloy wheels include bespoke red detailing, matching the eye-catching pinstripe on the bumpers and sills of the standard Juke Nismo.

Open the door and you’re greeted by Bat logos on the kickplates and reflective Bat badges on the headrests of the suede-trimmed Nismo sports seats. Thanks to downlighters mounted under the door mirrors the famous Bat signal can be projected onto the floor area around the doors. A clever uplighter projects the same signal onto the black headlining inside too.

The Dark Knight Rises™ Juke Nismo is the work of Nissan’s very own Batcave – Nissan Design Europe, based in London’s Paddington, the same studio responsible for the design of the original Juke.

The Dark Knight Rises™ Juke Nismo will not go on sale in a Nissan dealership, nor will it be made available to the highest bidder – instead the only way to get this car on your driveway is to enter a special competition at www.builttothrill.co.uk. Just take the Thrill Test and you’re in with a chance of owning The Dark Knight Rises™ Juke Nismo.

The competition runs until February 28th 2013 with the winner announced early March.

Meanwhile, order books for the Juke Nismo open in January 2013 with deliveries set for March 2013. The first in a range of Nismo road cars, it has been designed and developed by Nissan’s Nismo performance division. It will be available with two transmissions: a 2WD manual or 4WD CVT automatic. Prices and full specifications for the Juke Nismo will be released closer to the car’s launch.

To summarise the changes over the standard Juke Nismo, The Dark Knight Rises™ Juke Nismo features the following:

  • Matt black paintwork
  • Aluminium Bat logos front and rear
  • Shark fin antenna
  • Black 18-inch Nismo alloy wheels with red detailing
  • Uplighter that projects Bat symbol on headlining
  • Downlighters in door mirrors to project Bat symbol on floor area by doors
  • Reflective Bat badges on front and rear headrests
  • Door sills with Bat logos

Not manly enough to be labeled Dark knight. Those are 17" wheels for crying out loud. This is more like Robin's ride when Batman is on a solo mission. Would be an even better fit for Catwoman in a pair of red bottom shoes. Nissan is blowing R&D money on the Juke with all these stupid editions. The only Juke the world will accept is the Juke-R period. NOTHING LESS NISSAN! This is the car Nissan chose to celebrate their collaboration with Warner Bros??? Why not choose an Infiniti G or M?? Hopefully this is the last special edition Juke we see unless its the "R" of course. For the record I think this is the sissiest use of the batman logo on a car. Whoever got paid overtime for coming up with this vehicle needs to be fired. Take a Nismo Juke, wrap it matte black and place bat logos everywhere in and out. Not very hard to do at all, I think a bunch of 2nd graders could do a better job.
