Porsche Macan spied almost undisguised [video]

Baby Cayenne drops its camo

A Porsche Macan prototype was spied and photographed at a gas station in Stuttgart, Germany.

This is the most revealing video of the upcoming baby Cayenne from Porsche. It will borrow most of its styling cues from its bigger brother, with a similar front fascia, a sloping roofline, sweptback headlights, a four-tailpipe exhaust system and a tailgate-mounted spoiler.

It will be offered with a wide array of engines which will include (but not limited to) a turbocharged, four-cylinder, 2.0-liter with 220 hp (164 kW), a naturally-aspirated V6 3.6-liter producing 295 hp (220 kW) and a twin-turbo V6 3.0-liter generating 370 hp (276 kW) for the Turbo variant. Diesels include a 2.0-liter TDI with 190 hp (142 kW) and a beefier V6 3.0-liter TDI generating 250 hp (186 kW).

A hybrid variant of the Porsche Macan is also possible, featuring the powertrain of the Audi Q5 Hybrid.

No actually if you read correctly the Turbo variant is powered by a 'twin-turbo V6 3.0-liter generating 370 hp'

The front lights and the place where they put the LED's looks a lot like what Luxgen did with the Luxgen7 SUV.

I get a bmw x6 hombre, and yes I can afford one..not fan of an expensive VW like you are. The Cayenne has improved from its first iteration but still hangs on to the ugly back. This model has taken that rear to a new love which makes it look fat. Maybe you like a fat rear?! Whatever is your fettish, keep it to yourself!
