Milan Abarth supercar with up to 1,700 hp [video]

First Austrian super car

The Milan Abarth is an Austrian supercar that was showcased last week in Monaco.

Seven road-legal cars are planned, along with an additional seven high-performance SS Milan Abarth models. It will be powered by an engine designed by the family of Karl Abarth, an Austrian designer that during the 50s through 70s worked at Porsche and Fiat.

Depending on customization, the supercar can provide between 600 hp (447 kW) and 1700 hp (1268 kW), while weight varies between 900 kg (1984 lbs) and 1100 kg (2425 lbs).

All units will be entirely bespoke according to buyer's preferences. Prices start from 300,000 EUR.

An official world premiere is scheduled in February 2013.

no a days any ex employer of any car maufacturer , when gets fired from job , or gives up worcking for any car company , takes their chances and puts its own car factory , but of course , dont have the capacity to make cars in mass , so they opt for making a reduced numbers of suposed to be unique supercars , and claiming astonishing numbers and using engines borrowed from some important and reliable brands like GM with its great small block enginne, coz of its good quality and price ratio, and asck craisy prices for them cars, well i dont have any complainabout this , but the problem is , they should try do a car thats worth it to ask those high prices , and give them a great stile, not this ugly old fashion stiled car god , thats ugly , and the beauty enters from the coatumers eyes but with this ??????????,

when demanding such large ammounts of money one would thing that the manufacturer would create a great design, not just a racing shell with some lights put there just for the love of it. make a #$@^damned road car worthy of the 21st century, not this crap ass 1970s looking LeMans racer; and still have the huge balls to ask 300grand for it. what a shamefull place the world has become with such offers on the line.
