2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class headlights teaser released [video]

Launching in January at Detroit Motor Show

Mercedes-Benz has released a teaser video showing the new headlight design of the 2014 E-Class family.

While the current E-Class features a quad headlamp configuration, the 2014 variant will make the switch to a one-piece unit and will feature LED-infused strips. Aside from the restyled headlamps, the revised E-Class is expected to receive a redesigned bumper fascia, hood and grille, along with minor changes at the back.

The engine lineup is likely to get a power boost, including the E63 AMG which will probably produce 543 hp (405 kW) without the optional Performance Package. Mercedes-Benz might be planning an entry-level E300 model with a V6 3.5-liter engine that develops 248 hp (185 kW).

Wow, looks cool from what you get to see. As far as the power, does this mean they're doing away with the 030 Performance package and all of the E63's will have the power and unrestricted speed to 185mph?

How amazing would that be?! Doubt it though, they seem to be making everything an option these days.
