Debuts in Los Angeles

The 2013 Porsche Cayman has been spied virtually undisguised ahead of its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The pictures apparently taken by an Instagram user reveal the coupe in typical fashion to be heavily influenced by the Boxster. We can also see the model will have a sleek rear hatch with a prominent spoiler.

Engine options will likely carryover from the Boxster, so expect choices to include a 2.7-liter flat-six that develops 265 HP (195 kW) and 280 Nm (206 lb-ft) of torque as well as a 3.4-liter flat-six with 315 PS (232 kW) and 360 Nm (266 lb-ft) of torque.

The Cayman will be introduced on November 28th, so stay tuned for full details.

Thanks for the tip Thomas!

Nah, the computer renderings that have been floating around were pretty much spot on.

you don't need to disguise a porsche, they always look the same.

Wow, the metal sculpting. The way they designed the tension in the curves is remarkable. But I have to agree with Poseidon91, I hope they do something about the headlights

I hope the front lights are disguised, I hate those egg-shape front lights.
