In this video Mercedes-Benz is showing in time lapse how the SLS AMG Black Series is crafted into its final shape and wrapped in foil.
The most powerful SLS ever comes with a V8 6.2-liter engine producing 622 hp (464 kW) and 468 lb-ft (634 Nm). 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) is achieved in 3.6 seconds (0.2s quicker than the SLS AMG GT) on its way to a top speed of 196 mph (315 km/h).
The styling is inspired from the GT3 race version and rides on 20-inch lightweight forged alloy wheels. The side skirts, front splitter and rear diffuser are made from carbon fiber, while at an additional cost the front dive planes and adjustable rear wing can be made from the same lightweight material.
