Lamborghini Aventador Roadster caught leaving the factory
Could debut next week
Our friends at Autoblog Greece have been nice enough to share a couple of photos of a Lamborghini Aventador Roadster leaving the factory in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy.
Set to be unveiled on November 12th, the roadster is heavily camouflaged but it is expected to feature a removable, two-section carbon fiber roof. This will enable the model to have the same rear section as the coupe which will allow for a cleaner design and lower production costs.
Power will be provided by a 6.5-liter V12 engine that produces 700 HP (515 kW) and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque. It will be connected to a seven-speed transmission and an all-wheel drive system which should enable the model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in approximately three seconds.
