ABT S7 Sportback hits 190 mph [video]

Test drive editor Christian Gebhardt from Sport Auto took an ABT-tuned Audi S7 Sportback to check its top speed.

That custom S7 features various modifications to its 4.0-liter TFSI twin-turbo V8 engine, air intake and exhaust system – all for the purpose of increasing output to 540 HP (397 kW), compared to the standard 420 HP (309 kW).

Filmed at the famous Hockenheimring, the speedometer displayed a maximum speed of 190 mph (306 km/h) while the GPS showed 186 mph (300 km/h). It managed to complete the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in just 3.9 seconds.
