The Porsche Macan is inching closer to production as our spies have managed to shoot a new video of the upcoming crossover.
Caught in the countryside, the prototype drives around slowly as it flaunts its rebadged Audi-ness. The car's styling is heavily influenced by the Cayenne but features a sloping roofline and a distinctive rear end.
Engine options remain unconfirmed but petrol options could include a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 220 bhp (164 kW), a naturally-aspirated 3.6-liter V6 with 295 bhp (220 kW) and possibly a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 with 370 hp (276 kW). On the diesel side, there could be a 2.0-liter TDI with 190 bhp (142 kW) and a 3.0-liter V6 TDI with 250 bhp (186 kW). There's also word of a hybrid variant with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine and a 54 bhp (40 kW) electric motor.
The Macan will go into production in late 2013 with sales starting shortly thereafter.
