Jaguar XK-R and BMW 6-Series destroyed after a crane collapsed

Recently there have been numerous accidents involving expensive cars. This is yet another example as this recently sold Jaguar XK-R was completely destroyed after a 60-ton crane collapsed.

The incident occurred in the Belgian town of Gits in the parking lot of B & D Automobiles. That problematic crane made a second victim, a BMW 630. Its role was to lift a fuel tank for a petrol station that was being constructed along the Brugsesteenweg road. How did this happen? Due to ground subsidence, two of the crane’s supporting legs sunk into the soil.
