Skoda rally car ends up on a roof during IRC Sanremo 2012 [video]

No injuries occurred.

You probably have seen lots of rally crashes in your lifetime but this one is a little bit different. It happened during the International Rally Challenge (IRC) Sanremo 2012 and the protagonist of this strange crash was Juho Hänninen who rolled the Skoda Fabia he was driving and ended up on someone’s roof. The incident occurred last weekend and luckily the driver and his co-pilot escaped without any injuries.

Speaking of the co-pilot, at one point in the video he says to Juho Hänninen to “let it go, we’re on top of a house.” Maybe this co-pilot should have been in Petter Solberg’s car as well during the WRC Rallye de France when he kept on accelerating through a vineyard.
