Chevrolet launching 13 new or updated models in 2013 - report

Chevrolet has announced plans to launch 13 new or updated models in 2013.

Speaking at a press conference, Chevrolet Communications Director Michael Albano said "You know some of them. There's a lot of chatter about others and a couple will be complete surprises, which we're thrilled about."

Albano acknowledged the company will launch a new Impala, Tahoe and Suburban. There will also be an updated Traverse as well as a diesel-powered Cruze and Spark EV. The other vehicles remain a mystery, but likely include a new Corvette, Silverado / Silverado HD and SS.

Albano also hinted there will be two surprises. The company has already issued press releases about the aforementioned vehicles, so it seems doubtful that one of them is a 'mystery' model.
