Aston Martin V12 Vantage Carbon Black Edition driver banned 30 months from driving [video]

He sold the car after the incident.

The video above was recorded by the passenger of a rare Aston Martin V12 Carbon Black Edition that at one point managed to hit a speed of 292 km/h (181 mph) on the E17 highway located in Belgium. Behind the wheel was Erik Paris who now probably wishes that his friend never uploaded the video on YouTube.

The reason for this is because after his high speed run on the highway he received a 30-month ban from driving in Belgium, along with a hefty 4,400 euro fine. He was somewhat lucky because the maximum ban in Belgium for this sort of actions is five years.

We don’t know for sure but it seems that Erik decided to sell his Aston Martin after this unfortunate incident.

So, he'll just drive another car and not get caught. I can only imagine how many drivers here in Japan are driving a manual transmission with only an automatic license. I can think of one person.....

he never drives dangerously towards himself or other drivers, I just see 2 people enjoying the cars performance, nothing that us "cars enthousiasts" never did before. I see nothing wrong with his driving. Erik Paris, is a cool dude as far as I can tell

Still going at 292 could be fatal to anybody else in their way if the driver did a mistake. Laws are laws, if you don't respect them you should be punished. He should to Germany.
