I'm currently driving a 2004 Toyota Solara SLE (with the Camry 4 cylinder engine). I currently have 58,000 miles on it. In nearly ten years of ownership (bought it in Fall of 2003), I've done exactly 1 non-scheduled repair on it; a new water pump last year that was beginning to go. That being said, my family purchased it's first Honda in 1987. I've logged extensive hours on the 1990 Honda Prelude SI 4WS, the 1989 CRX Si, the 1992 Accord EX, 2004 Accord EX, and the 1997 Nissan Maxima GLE, and 2000 Toyota Celica GTS. Both Toyota and Honda make wonderful, reliable cars. I've noticed that the Accord tends to have a more taunt suspension system and responsive steering that firms up nicely as speed increases. The Solara's steering and suspension is much more subtle and soft. It provides less feedback when handled aggressively, but at the same time less feedback can translate into a more relaxed long distance experience. I think that anyone would be well served by either vehicle. I'm currently in the market to buy and am leaning more towards the Accord. It's not because it's superior, per se, it's just that after 10 years of Toyota experience, I'm ready for a change. http://gm-navigation.com/latest-navs/toyota-camry-factory-navi.html

Great idea, give it more power, so it goes by faster and does not dull - up people's days. Very considerate!

Wth is the point of this, they give it a weaker engine....i was expecting a 3.5V6 with 300hp or something along those lines....Toyota is still one of my favorite brands for a long time....but their actions save for the great GT-86....are so terribly uninspired.
