2014 Chevrolet Corvette gets digitally rendered [video]

Could be unveiled early next year

Trinity Animation has created a video of what the 2014 Corvette could look like.

Using spy photos and leaked information, the clip shows the car will have evolutionary styling with sharper lines and smoother surfaces. There's also a larger grille, ventilated front fenders and LED-infused headlights. Out back, the model has a four-tailpipe exhaust system and Camaro-inspired taillights.

Power could be provided by a V8 engine with direct-injection and variable valve timing. There's no word on what it will produce, but it might be connected to a seven-speed manual transmission.

Too flat and straight. Looks more like the evolution of an old TVR instead of a Corvette. Those Camaro tailights are a dumb down.

So what they've done is look at a lot of F12 pictures and then gone to render the Corvette. The roofline, rear end, front air intake, and front three quarters are all wrong. The stance is one of the things that they have got realistic and correct.

something bothers me about the look of the car.....and it's not just the style.........it needs a drop. This rendering makes it look like a 4X4
