Audi & Ducati teaming up for Pikes Peak International Hill Climb [video]
Celebrating their common heritage
Audi and Ducati have announced plans to celebrate their "common heritage" at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
That's a little vague, but the company released pictures of an RS5 that will likely be competing in the event. It features a white exterior with special graphics and red, grey and black body stripes.
Audi declined to mention if there would be any performance modifications, but the standard RS5 has a 4.2-liter V8 engine that produces 450 PS (331 kW / 444 hp) and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a seven-speed S tronic transmission and a quattro all-wheel drive system which enables the coupe to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and hit an electronically-limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
