Porsche Museum reveals some of its secrets [video]

Porsche has released a short clip about some of the special cars developed over the years.

While waiting for the arrival of the 918 Spyder, Porsche has given us a glimpse of its museum where they store valuable and rare automobiles. The Porsche Museum of Stuttgart is the place where the German carmaker stores its heritage that spans across eight decades. What's even more interesting is the fact that this represents only a small portion of what Porsche has saved over the years, with more than 500 other cars being stored in another secret facility.

This facility is not only a home for cars wearing the Porsche badge, but also for vehicles from other carmakers, such as the Audi RS2 Avant, some Seats and Ladas, as well as a China-made concept family car. This first part of the video highlights the very first 911 Turbo which was a birthday present for Louise Porsche Pieche, the daughter of Ferdinand Porsche.

In part two of the video Porsche will be providing details about some special cars such as the 996 Bulletproof, 906 Ollon-Villars Hill Climb, FLA Concept Study, 924 World Record Car, 928 Convertible Prototype, 908 Targa Florio and the 984 Porsche Junior.
