Audi RS5 Pikes Peak Teaser 06.8.2012

Races takes place on August 12th

Audi has posted a teaser image of an RS5 that will likely compete in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb on August 12th.

The company declined to give details, but said "we've got a surprise in store for you." Regardless, the model appears to feature a white exterior with red, grey and black body stripes.

As we have previously reported, the RS5 is equipped with a 4.2-liter V8 engine that produces 450 PS (331 kW / 444 hp) and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a seven-speed S tronic transmission and a quattro all-wheel drive system which enables the $68,900 coupe to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and hit an electronically-limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
