Next-generation Dacia Logan spied [video]

Could be based on the Renault Fluence

The second-generation Dacia Logan has been spied undergoing testing in Europe.

While the prototype is heavily disguised, we can see the model will have a prominent grille, sweptback headlights and a sloping roofline.

Additional information is limited, but the model will reportedly be based on the Renault Fluence. This means we can expect a larger cabin with additional space and upgraded materials.

Engine options remain a mystery, but possible candidates include a 1.6-liter petrol, a 2.0-liter petrol and a 1.5-liter dCi diesel.

A Dacia Logan concept is expected to be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show and the production model could debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.

1,825,880 units from 2004 to 2009 . n a recent survey conducted by a French magazine, Dacia cars were voted one of the safest cars in France. In Germany, Dacia was placed on the second position in the 2010 Vehicle Ownership Satisfaction Study released by J. D. Power and Associates in June 2010.

Dacia's are simple but well made and affordable. Cars for the real world in fact. Would rather read five bits of news about Dacia than one bit of news about another pointless Audi.
