Pigeon lands on alleged gold plated Lamborghini Aventador [video]

Here's a video sent to WCF by That Racing Channel of an alleged gold plated Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 as proclaimed by the video title.

Owned by the CEO of Lamborghini Miami, Brett David, the vehicle was "unveiled" at an event in Miami Beach. Unfortunately, we're provided with no information as to how the vehicle was prepared, whether it was with gilded gold or gold leaf. Since the finish is very smooth and shiny, we're left to believe its just an extensive foil wrap.

Previous vehicles that were truly coated in gold, were considered to have an inestimable value. However, the lack of security, as seen by the pigeon landing on the roof and a little girl leaning over the chain to place her greasy palm on the door leads us to believe, this isn't real. Furthermore, if a gold Aventador scale model which uses materials alone valued at €2 million and fetch €3.5 million at auction, surely this vehicle would be worth much more.

what I get from this article is that someone who looks for a lambordghini shouldn't go to the lamborghini of miami as the ceo can afford to have a gold wrapped aventador. too much profit over a car is needed for the ceo to buy such a car. + he doesn't have a taste in my opinion, as he ruined this car...

I dont know whats more pathetic, that they actually chrome the body of a car or these fools that gold plate the body of a near perfect car. We know you have money to spend, but really gold plated. Shame the Dove didn't take a s%$t on it.

I hate this "flying rats". Pigeons are dirty, smelly, carry diseases and destroy the facades and roofs of buildings and s**t on our heads.
