Retrobuilt has introduced their new 1969 Shelby GT 500CS convertible conversion package.

Inspired by the original, the modern-day recreation can be based on any 2005 or newer Mustang. While it isn't the most attractive styling package, the kit includes a fiberglass body, a "shaker" hood and chrome bumpers. There's also HID headlights, a center-mounted dual exhaust system and Shelby-inspired wheels.

Customers can also order a racing package that adds a supercharger, Baer brakes and a lowered IBOC sports suspension.

yes but when the proportions look that bad then whats the point of spending all that cash, might as well just get the real thing or get old v6 and convert it, the Trans Am conversion from the new camero looks WAY BETTER, its called the Firebreather

Looks god awful, and more like a challenger then a mustang.

The spoiler isn't very pretty but nice look otherwise.

Nerd Alert: The 69's didn't have a chin spoiler. I like it though!
