Retrobuilt 1969 Shelby GT 500CS Convertible announced

Retrobuilt has introduced their new 1969 Shelby GT 500CS convertible conversion package.

Inspired by the original, the modern-day recreation can be based on any 2005 or newer Mustang. While it isn't the most attractive styling package, the kit includes a fiberglass body, a "shaker" hood and chrome bumpers. There's also HID headlights, a center-mounted dual exhaust system and Shelby-inspired wheels.

Customers can also order a racing package that adds a supercharger, Baer brakes and a lowered IBOC sports suspension.
