Poland's Arrinera accused of being a fake replica - not supercar

Polands Arrinera accused of being a fake replica - not supercar
Arrinera and Bojar El Toro replica comparison photo 22.05.2012

Reports have been circulating in the Polish media that the Arrinera supercar is nothing but a worked over replica car. Undeserving of the supercar label, compelling evidence brought forth by Polish online TV (Motodziennik) and radio program (TokFM) host, Jacek Balkan, asserts that the Arrinera is nothing but a "poor replica."

Images sent to WCF by Balkan show the Arrinera's interior strongly resembling the Lamborghini El Toro replica from Poland's Bojar Tuning. Furthermore, interior components such as the air vents, dash panel and glove compartment have been taken from the Opel Corsa while the Audi A6 (C5) is the donor vehicle of the instrument cluster, center console and entire electrical system.

Balkan highlights that Veno SA, producer of the Arrinera and a listed company on NewConnect - an alternative and less regulated stock market run by the Warsaw Stock Exchange - purchased the El Toro replica with the intent of manipulating its share price following a big media push for the vehicle's debut.

Whether these allegations are true or not remains to be proven, but Veno SA recently announced the model is slated to go into production later this year with pricing starting at £100,000 ($160,060 / €116,740).

to enter the exotic car range isn't that simple as showing off some sketches and some infos. you need a working technical protototipe, that does very well on test tracks, and then go to some "big spenders" with great designs. so that they can support your production costs. those sultans will receive some inside advantages with first picks, unique materials & stuff, joyrides, whatever. you get your hands on some menthal designs and sketches for your supercar, and then go around talking big cash. wtf is this?! 160k $ for that lambo clone?! anybody cand get that with 50k in a replica. and put his own made-up brand logo. unique "exotic" car

Whatever the case is...the Audi automatic transmission that seems to be in this car does not make it seem like a real supercar.

Ah yes, but most importantly, it's ugly, and it sucks. So even if it is a completely clean sheet job, it is still a failure. Its as if they took all of the best parts of Lamborghini, got rid of them, and kept all the gawky, sorta goofy looking elements, that they could. Then they smooshed them all onto an ill proportioned chassis, to create one massive pile of crap.

Kudos for the attempt, but calling this a supercar is a strech, and the price is ridiculous. As a matter of fact, You can get brand new Audi R8 for a little less.

How do you say uh oh in Polish? Either way, this company was doomed to fail. For 160,000, I could get any number of supercars that are far superior to this joke: the Turbo, the R8, a GT3RS, a used Lamborghini/Ferrari, or shell out for the California, or even the Noble M600. the list goes on. Who would buy a car from this company anyway? Unless they had a desire to piss away their money into something that has no real value compared to its competitors. Whether or not this is a replica is totally irrelevant.

11th With the preparation of a prototype supercar ride Arrinera Issuer has obtained possible to verify the dynamic performance supercar. The current verification (tests) of the solutions adopted in the prototype are in the key importance to the ongoing work on the production version of the supercar Arrinera. It is This phase of work, during which the rate of release is the final test solutions tested for use in the target version (the production). Through The issuer has verified the possession of a prototype dynamic parameters of most Arrinera supercar key systems and performance to date influence the direction of the work on the production version of the supercar Arrinera. 12th Referring to the expression editor Jack Balkans "with tubes of varying cross-section and fiberglass body, in a word replica of the "Issuer declares that have a framework of tubes and fiberglass body does not qualify the car to the name of the replica. Some manufacturers of sports cars and supercars used this vehicle. In addition, cars with bodywork made ??entirely of Carbon fiber cost significantly more than 100 thousand. GBP (expected output price Arrinera supercar). Prices of such cars usually start at 170 - 200 thousand. GBP. At the same time cars with visible carbon fiber structure, as This is the case of several elements Arrinera prototype supercar, costing usually at least 4 million PLN. There is no technical justification and economical for use in the prototype carbon fiber supercar in all parts of the body. 13th In connection with the claim editor Jack Balkans "asked the GM. Nobody knows anything about Sales of complete engines, the Polish company "Issuer declares that it is in contact with representative of GM (OEM Sales of GM Powertrain headquarters in Pontiac, Michigan, USA), which talks about the possibility of direct acquisition from GM LS9 engines with accessories. Simultaneously, the Issuer has the power to acquire LS9 engine suppliers Lee Noble. 14th Panel conditioning from the Audi S6 C5 is used only in the prototype Arrinera supercar. The production version is planned to use a different panel. It should be noted that companies such as Audi and GM do not produce their own panels air conditioning. These elements perform their companies such as Delphi, Denso and Valeo. The same is true of many components used in commercial cars. It is worth noting that the same climate control panel was used Until recently, the Rover 45 model (the price of the car amounted to tens of thousands of new gold), the Lamborghini Diablo (the price of new cars was more than a million PLN) and Pagani Zonda (the price of the car was new even several million). http://www.km77.com/marcas/mg/zs_04/0pri...

The Issuer hereby declares that the dashboard (including the central part, middle part, part of the wheel bay with access to the fuse panel), installed in the prototype supercar Arrinera been patented by the Issuer and will be used in the production version of the supercar Arrinera. 6th It is not true that "in the same car, the Opel Corsa comes with mid-upper part of the cockpit. " Designated part does not come from the Opel Corsa, or from any other vehicle. The cockpit has been designed, manufactured and patented by the Issuer. 7th Regardless of audience ratings, as a possible similarity to other supercars, publicly unveiled a prototype of a supercar is not Arrinera replica of any car. A replica is a copy of the play in order reproduction of the original intent of its faithful reproduction possible. Prototype Arrinera supercar is not a replica of any other supercar or car. The fulfillment of the criteria for the recognition of a prototype supercar Arrinera a replica certainly does not settle the "steel frame, and I quote from the pipe diverse cross-section of a body of fiberglass replica in a word " (Quote: editor Jacek. Balkan and all subsequent quotations in these explanations, marked in italics, are from editor Jack. Balkans). At the same time Note that the Issuer repeatedly informed that the production version of the supercar Arrinera will have an improved appearance of the body. The designer of the body, both prototype and production version Arrinera supercar is an employee of the Issuer, Mr. Pavlo Burkatsky. 8th The production version of the supercar Arrinera unit will be used LS9 Drive (8-cylinder engine with a capacity of 6.2 liters, the maximum power of 647 hp and a torque of 819 Nm). This will be the only engine that - for today - Issuer plans to put in a supercar Arrinera. 9th Arrinera supercar prototype frame is a truss made ??of profiles closed. Putting together and cement the individual elements obtained by the Issuer very high precision of the frame. Thanks to a very precise execution wishbone mounting points, the correction in the regulation of wheel alignment angles was minimal. As a result, after the end of regulation and performance measurement of mutual position of the wheels in the prototype supercar Arrinera, obtained a unique result - the difference between the diagonals of the front wheels and rear axle, is only 1 mm (One millimeter). This indicates a high level of competence of the Issuer design and build supercars. 10th The objective to be able to offer customers with a supercar Arrinera "Chassis by Lee Noble" (called chassis - the frame / chassis car), the frame for Arrinera supercar production version will be prepared from scratch by Exile Automotive Limited (formerly Lee Noble Design Limited) is a company whose director is Lee Noble, maintaining however the framework of the prototype parameters, such the wheelbase and track width and the location of the passenger compartment and the chamber engine. After driving around a framework for delivery of the Issuer, the Issuer's Polish team It then installs the body and the interior of the production version of the supercar Arrinera.

This evidence undermines the good name of the Issuer and contains a number of false Information Management Arrinera Automotive SA as below. First It is untrue that Arrinera supercar prototype was not built yourself by the Issuer, and was supposedly built "in the company Bojar". The Issuer has worked with Bojar company. This cooperation has been completed for a long time (in February 2009) before Arrinera supercar prototype presentation. The company has prepared for the Issuer Bojar body parts of the laminates. These elements are not fully utilized in the prototype supercar Arrinera presented publicly in 2011. In Arrinera supercar prototype, except for one (rear) part of the support frame is not has components made ??"in the company Bojar". In particular, the prototype Arrinera supercar has any body components made ??"in Bojar company. " Second It is untrue that "auto show reporters in 2011 that body of composites designed by Bojara ". Body supercar prototype Arrinera was not designed "by Bojara" only by an employee of the Issuer, Mr. Pavlo Burkatsky'iego. Third It is not true that a prototype supercar Arrinera not ridden. The Issuer conducted Arrinera supercar prototype tests have been performed in May 2011, prior to presentation of the prototype. The issuer has a material, including footage, documenting the prototype tests have been performed. 4th It is not true that at the time of presentation of the prototype supercar Arrinera "was not You can look inside. " The film of the presentation materials available to the Issuer (placed inter alia on account of corporate ARRINERA.com YouTube), you will see that you could easily look inside the prototype. 5th It is not true that "considerable parts of the board come from the Opel Corsa." With the exception of air vents, no other part of the dashboard prototype supercar Arrinera does not come from the Opel Corsa. The issuer of notes that air vents with Opel Corsa's are used in many cars, such as the Noble M600, which costs 225 thousand Pounds (1.2 million z?). Another example is the supercar Zenvo ST1, a version production has the serial clocks from Porsche, even though its price is as high as 770 thousand. Pounds (4.16 million z?). In a similar way some manufacturers supercars uses a very popular part (eg switches in the cockpit) from other cars. Zenvo ST1 mentioned earlier, the production version, has also Climate panel of Corvette C6 and vents from the SEAT Ibiza, which costs 1/100 value of the super sports car:

Jacek Balkan is a famous liar in Poland. Many cautomotive companies sued him to court for lying about them. He has a few court judgments for that. It is a self-proclaimed journalist who specializes in criticizing almost everyone. He will have another lawsuit for another lie. Below translated by "google translator" response from the company Arrinera Automotive. It shows that Jacek Balkan lied to what he wrote to the WCF. http://translate.google.pl/translate?hl=...
