The successor for the Ferrari Enzo that finished production in 2004 is probably one of the most anticipated models, and there are sure to be a slew of artists presenting their speculative efforts for the world to evaluate. One such artist is Constantin-Gabriel Radu who has presented this enticing set of images.

Pre-production prototypes of the Ferrari Enzo successor have begun appearing on public roads a couple of weeks a go and our spies were lucky enough to grab a few shots.

Power is set to be generated from the F12 Berlinetta's 6.2-liter (6262cc) V12 unit with an output of around 800 PS (588 kW/789 hp). It will be joined by the new F1-derived HY-KERS petrol-electric hybrid system that will bring an additional 120 PS to the table and also give it short distance zero emissions driving.

Reports have stated that an unidentified Ferrari model that incorporated the HY-KERS system managed a 0-100kph (0-62mph) time that was 3 seconds quicker than without.

Ferrari is believed to be targeting performance statistics that will rival the Bugatti Veyron; meaning we should expect a top speed close to 408 kph (254mph) and a 0-100kph (0-62mph) time of less than 2.5 seconds.

The front end has way too much overhang, and those rear lights are horrendously ugly. For a speculation, it really doesn't follow Ferrari design, especially when you look at the designs Ferrari is currently putting out.

"Reports have stated that an unidentified Ferrari model that incorporated the HY-KERS system managed a 0-100kph (0-62mph) time that was 3 seconds quicker than without." The slowest Ferraris are doing the 0-100km/h in around 4 seconds max, so how would this be possible? 1 second 0-60mph?

no, not good at all, apart from the rear lights, there is nothing that says it is supposed to be a "Ferrari" (talking outside the box here) the humps start to get worse, front to back, hardly any lines Ferrari are better than this

Looks too close to the old Enzo. I don't think Ferrari is going to base the new one too closely on it design wise.

The rendering looks lame. I think I rather wait for the full reveal.

First impression: I thought I was looking at a red SSC Tutara. I don't know if that's good or bad, but Ferrari F70 "speculation" almost always makes me blow my nerd load.

(O)_(O) please JUST be a speculative rendering. I'm sure Ferrari has something better in mind....

Damnit, this kind of render is the reason that LSD was frowned upon after the 70s. I can see how a binge could result in this though...

God I hope not, Ferrari has better taste and vision for what will replace the enzo. This is not one of them.
