Could have revised styling and upgraded engines

If you weren't thrilled about the Victoria Beckham-inspired Range Rover Evoque Special Edition, perhaps the upcoming Evoque Sport will do the trick.

According to recent reports, the model could be introduced late next year and feature an aggressive body kit, beefier brakes and a sport-tuned suspension that reduces the ride height by 10mm. Speculation also suggests we can expect larger alloy wheels and an improved steering system for sharper handling.

Engine options remain unconfirmed, but the model could be powered by an upgraded turbocharged 2.0-liter petrol as well as a revised 2.2-liter SD4 diesel with approximately 210 hp (157 kW / 213 PS).

Not necessary to have a V6. BMW 528 is great and fast with a 4 cylinder. They need to tune the existing engine a bit to 300 hp.

Nice..but it needs more power than a 4 Cylinder Turbo...maybe a Twin Turbo V6 would do the trick...

It needs the V6 petrol and diesel from Jaguar. Plenty of people love the Evoque, but want it to be much faster than it is.

Aye, the new Jag Supercharged V6 would be a sweet deal for this baby. I wonder if 3rd party engineers could do it and make the weight distribution and handling right.

LR have already stated several times there is no room for a V engine under the hood. Back when the "LRX" was being hatched the plans were to use a Volvo T5 or T6 as an option, then Ford started pawning assets and the result is this. A T6 wouldve been perfect!
