Our spy photographers have already snapped a few pictures of the next-generation Renault Clio, but the first teaser image of the production model has just surfaced online.
Reportedly unveiled at company's annual shareholders meeting, the picture reveals the hatchback will have sculpted rear fenders, angular taillights and an upward-sweeping shoulder line.
Little else is known about the model, but previous reports have indicated the car will be slightly larger than the current model and have styling that is influenced by the DeZir concept.
Engine options remain unconfirmed, but speculation suggests the model will be equipped with a variety of petrol and diesel powertrains. The entry-level variant is expected to use a 0.9-liter three-cylinder with approximately 90 hp (67 kW / 91 PS), while the range-topping RenaultSport variant should adopt a powerful turbocharged petrol unit.
The 2013 Renault Clio could be introduced at the Paris Motor Show, so look for a possible unveiling in September.
