Lamborghini Urus SUV leaked

 Lamborghini Urus SUV leaked
Lamborghini Urus crossover SUV

Lamborghini will be unveiling the Urus Crossover SUV at Auto China in Beijing next week, but there will be no need to wait as the first photos have leaked online already.

The design DNA of the super car brand has clearly made its way to the off-road model variant. The front end mimics the styling seen on previous production models and also uses a similar red livery that was recently seen on the Aventador J.

The sloping roof gives the SUV a coupe-like profile but the rear appears to have suffered from a bit of over-the-top design.

Recent rumors suggest the concept has a high probability of production and will become the spiritual successor to the LM002 from the late 1980s. Details are what lies under the hood remain scarce with sources mentioning a5.2-liter V10 engine that produces approximately 584 hp (435 kW / 592 PS).

Look for full official details to be released when the model debuts, but in the meantime enjoy these leaked photos.

Sometimes I wonder about Lamborghini. They say they are pure and on edge which they prove with the Aventador and various Gallardo and Murcielago iterations. Yet this appears. I'm sure it will perform well, but it's hardly purist or extreme. Broadening the brand should have involved the Estoque. However the Urus and Estoque are both cars for a world that stopped existing in October 2008.

Lambo has always been edgy. Their cars have always pulled out a mix of emotion. From the "What the hell are they thinking" to "Thats pure beauty". I for one love what Lambo is doing. Now my only problem is that I dont see anyone buying this to actually go off road. So is Lambo just gonna build a $250k+ SUV for rich soccer moms or do they have some Dakar Rally ideas in their future? If its just for Rich Soccer moms just build a sedan to take out Porsche ugly Panamera

VW needs to take ownership of Lamborghini away from Audi. It may not make me popular but I will never like the bastardization of Lamborghini engines in Audis or Lamborghinis on Audi Platforms. Piech it's time to put Porsche, Lamborghini, Bentley & Bugatti together and let them design shared engines & platforms that suit the sporting brands.

I usually dislike all SUV except true offroader such as the Land Rover Defender, the Jeep Wrangler, and the Mercedes G-class. Nevertheless, I do like this one as I do like the Range Rover Evoque (maybe I'm less convinced by the rear). Being a Lambo, it will need some madness in the handling department to make it special, although I don't know what it should/could be.

Nice try, but there is no way they can make the SUV shape appear aggressive enough to be called a Lamborghini. I think this and the Bentley SUV are just concepts and nothing more, I trust Martin Winterkorn's judgment enough to say he won't sign off on cr*p.

it's like the Gallardo's ugly fat brother. From the 90s. A car that would appear on Baywatch. I bet that Snooki thing will drive this. Audi really messed this one up.

Legitimate or not, it is a big oversight to not render the wing mirrors in the interior shots. I quite like it though.
