Maybach offering buyers a $100,000 rebate - report
Still costs $119,550 more than an S600
The Maybach saga is coming to a close, but it's still a tad surprising the company is reportedly offering a $100,000 (€76,250 / £62,775) rebate to anyone who buys one of their wildly unpopular vehicles.
While the discount is certainly impressive, it only lowers the base price of an entry-level Maybach 57 to $279,050 (€212,660 / £175,170). This makes it $5,950 (€4,535 / £3,735) cheaper than a Bentley Mulsanne but still $119,550 (€90,980 / £75,050) more expensive than a Mercedes S600.
