First Lamborghini Aventador on fire [video]

In what is believed to be the first fire incident for the new supercar model, a Lamborghini Aventador caught fire on California Route 73 South past El Toro Rd near Newport Beach this weekend. 

The vehicle owned by Lamborghini of Newport Beach was apparently on a test drive when fire reportedly developed from the left rear tire or wheel well. No one was injured.

During the incident the three-lane southbound highway was closed. 

Lamborghini is investigating the cause of the fire.
