Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 hits the track [video]

Has more than 530 PS (390 kW / 523 hp)

Nissan introduced the GT-R NISMO GT3 earlier this year, but we haven't heard much about it since then. Thankfully, JR Motorsports has released a promotional video for their race car.

Looking menacing in black, the €298,000 ($395,595) sports car is fully FIA-compliant and is eligible to compete in a variety of GT3 events. Detailed specifications haven't been released, but the car has a revised suspension and a number of adjustable components.

Motivation is provided by a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine that develops more than 530 PS (390 kW / 523 hp) and 612 Nm (451 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a six-speed semi-automatic transmission which sends power to the rear wheels.

This car needs to be in GT5. Its a great race car, at 400K for a fully fledged homologated race car, is a value price.

This is an FIA legal race car, whose rules stipulate cars have to be 2wd. The 4WD touring GT-Rs that race at the N24 Nurburgring race arent allowed to compete in FIA/ACO events.
