Fiat 500 Abarth Venom approved by Catrinel Menghia [videos]

Mopar has partnered with Italian parts supplier Magneti Marelli to produce a suite of tuning products for the 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth.

A demo vehicle dubbed the Venom was shown at a media event in Las Vegas earlier this month which included a surprise visit from super model Catrinel Menghia who starred in Fiat's Super Bowl commercial.

For the Venom's body, various components made in carbon fiber such as the hood and side mirror housings among others managed to shave off 200 pounds. The roof also receives a large matte-black Scorpion graphic.

A reprogrammed ECU plus a sport exhaust system helps boost power output of the 160 hp (119 kW / 162 PS) 1.4-liter turbocharged engine as much as 25 percent or 40 hp (30 kW / 41 PS).

Despite having the media event in the U.S., the Venom components are not available in North America.

Man, she's gorgeous. And I'll be honest; the car she's standing next to isn't too bad, either. =)

keep dreaming...honestly , her feelings for you could never be mutual . much like that poor guy she slapped for just admiring her false beauty . and that also applies to that ugly car standing beside her . they both are so repulsive they perfectly fit each other like hand to glove .

Okay, first of all...that was just a commercial. Second of all, I could care less what she feels about me. I don't know her. At the end of the day, she's an (attractive) woman in a commercial. Third of all, I was merely giving a compliment because I personally think she's pretty...and yes, I do like the way the car looks, too.

its perfectly okay to appreciate the beautiful things around us , that is what our faculty of sight is meant for . yet we were also endowed with wisdom from above to differentiate what is real and what is not , what is truly beneficial and what is only fleeting .

Are you, by any chance, the 1% of car guys who'd rather have J-Lo back?

i do have a life and i enjoy it enormously . but by expressing my thoughts differently should not be taken to mean as trolling , nor am i helplessly attracted to vainly cruel characters like this woman who takes great pleasure in slapping men around and making complete drooling fools out of them .

That's alright. There will be no shortage of tuner parts for this vehicle.

I guess personalization is important these days, but Chrysler is doing a fine work of making available mechanical and electronic tweaks, taking the issue beyond the usual stickers...
