Debuts at the Beijing Motor Show

Renault has released the first teaser image of the 2013 Talisman, ahead of its debut at the Beijing Motor Show.

While there isn't much to see, speculation suggests the model will be a rebadged version of the Samsung SM7. If this pans out, we expect the car to be a large sedan with conservative styling and an elegant interior.

Engine options will likely include a 2.5-liter V6 with 190 PS (140 kW / 187 hp) and 243 Nm (179 lb-ft) of torque as well as a 3.5-liter V6 which churns out 258 PS (190 kW / 254 hp) and 330 Nm (243 lb-ft) of torque.

Ironically , these Samsung built cars have proven to be more reliable than "real" Renaults. At least where they are sold.

It could be a hit in China, not as an upper line up for Laguna but a replacement for slow selling undefined size Laguna and a model ahead of Megane

It will never be a hit in China, because for Chinese people french cars are really bad, and it's partely true when you consider the german & japanese cars.

I hate those little lights on saloon cars. I find they look better when their are more horizontal and bigger like Audi's & BMW's.

Yeah, those lights are too small for Fiat Punto, but let's wait for the whole thing...
