Bentley Continental GT V8 tackles Goodwood
Runs to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds
The Goodwood Festival of Speed is still a couple of months away, but that hasn't stopped Bentley from putting in a few practice runs at the legendary hill climb.
According to Marketing Manager Steven Egan, "The team had an excellent day at Goodwood with the new Continental V8 and we're now looking forward to returning in the summer as one of the Festival's official partners and with our leading ‘Bentley Boy' drivers behind the wheel."
As we have previously reported, the model features a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine with 500 bhp (507 PS / 373 kW) and 660 Nm (487 lb ft) of torque. It enables the coupe to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 303 km/h (188 mph).
