Here's a fun little video showcasing the new 2013 Porsche Boxster. With footage taken from promos and live scenes at last week's Geneva Motor Show, Hans-Jürgen Wöhler, Manager of the Boxster model line, gives us the core facts about the technology that went into the new Boxster.
The all-new third-generation 2013 Porsche Boxster (981) features a 2.7-liter engine produces 265 HP (261 bhp / 195 kW) while the Boxster S gets a bigger 3.4-liter engine delivering 315 HP (311 bhp / 232 kW).
0 to 100 km/h in the Boxster is 5.7 seconds and the Boxster S is 5.0 seconds. In addition, the Boxster laps the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 7 minutes and 58 seconds.
The Boxster and Boxster S launch in Germany on 14.04.2012 with a list price of 48,291 euro and 59,120 euro (19% VAT incl), respectively. The U.S. market launch will be early summer with a list price of $49,500 for the Boxster and $60,900 for the Boxster S not including a $950 destination charge.
