Following its official unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show, Bugatti has unleashed more photos and detailed official specifications for the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. The model is a result of a marriage between the open top Grand Sport with a removable roof and the super performance Super Sport.
The 16-cylinder engine pumps out 1,200HP (883kW / 1,184hp) and 1,500Nm (1,106lb-ft) of torque which is passed to the wheels via the seven-speed DSG transmission and all-wheel-drive systems. The Vitesse can accelerate from standstill to 100kph (62mph) in just 2.6 seconds and 200kph (103mph) in 7.1 seconds before maxing out at 410 kph (254mph).
It is almost comical looking at the fuel economy and emissions figures for the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. The engine emits 867g/km of CO2 gases and requires 37.2 liters of fuel to complete 100km of in-city driving.
A choice of three suspension set-ups can be selected according to the driving requirements: Standard, Handling and Top Speed, the latter of which is configured for driving at speeds over 375kph.
