totally agree with you.............when the Japanese car makers first introduce their luxury division, the main selling point is to offer the German luxury at a cheaper price, thus offering the best bang for the buck. That is not the case for all three Japanese luxury divisions anymore, now the price is the same, and sometimes more than what their German competitors are offering. Granted, the same money will not buy as many options as you can get from the Germans, but I will gladly use my good old Garmin GPS in an X3 then the built GPS from RDX. I will gladly take a base or 'some' optioned X3 anytime than a top line RDX. Of course, this is just my personal opinion.

let's use some logic here. what is the base price of an evoque? $43K. how much will a fully loaded evoque set you back? how about nearly $60K. not to mention the evoque comes only with a four-banger and is probably smaller in both 3-door and 5-door form. you're comparing apples to oranges. durrrrrrrrrrr

I have a 2010 RDX which I bought fully loaded for $32,000. The big selling point for Acura is that they come fully loaded in their base price and that helps resale plus you get the 4yr/50,000 mile warranty. All the Acura come with Xenon headlights, super nice interiors with voice activated everything! The turbo 4 is plenty of power and this is a guy that also owns an Aston Martin and a Lamborghini Gallardo.

Kelly Blue Book and Ebay still show the 2010 RDX still worth retail around $25-$27,000. That is awesome for a 3 year old car!

Dear Acura, I'm glad that you have given the the RDX a much deserved 6 speed automatic transmission. If it's not too much trouble, can you tell your Honda parents to start using it and ditch the prehistoric 5 speed auto?
