Mom builds cardboard Red Bull Formula 1 car for 4 year-old

Examples of parents spoiling their kids rotten for all of the wrong reasons, usually involving large sums of money, is something we unfortunately hear about all too often. However, in the case of this Japanese mom with her four year old son, the spoiling is of the most noble kind as it involves creativity, commitment and most importantly, love.

Taking one month to build, construction of the cardboard 2012 Red Bull RB8 Formula 1 race car replica began before the actual race car was revealed a few weeks ago. The mother, who is a fan of the Red Bull F1 team as well as world champion Sebastian Vettel, started with the frame and then finished the exterior based on photos and videos from the RB8's launch.

Intended to be the ultimate video game station, the final result is quite amazing, particularly in the details, as it accurately replicates the aerodynamic pieces such as the front and rear wings in addition to the detailed graphics and logos, and even the stepped nose.

But probably the most impressive feature is that the car can be folded into thirds when Yoshi is out and about doing other activities.
