Some people on their snowmobiles came across what appeared to be abandoned car under a huge pile of snow, but on closer inspection they realised a man was inside. Peter Skyllberg had reportedly been inside the vehicle since the 19th December in temperatures as low as -30 degrees Celsius.
Any of you that may have spent the night in your car may know it can get pretty cold. But the man did manage to survive by wrapping himself inside a sleeping bag and drinking the melted snow. But it is thought that he did not manage to eat anything during the ordeal.
It is therefore remarkable that he managed to survive so long without food, not to mention the freezing temperatures. Experts believe it is possible for the human body to survive without food for up to two months.
