Audi A1 quattro goes drifting on snow [video]

Audi has released this rather enticing video of the new limited edition A1 quattro which shows the model having a bit of drifting fun in snowy conditions. It shows the all-wheel-drive system being worked hard to keep the car on the road and also gives a little envious feeling in our guts.

The A1 quattro gets a 2.0-liter TFSI petrol engine that generates 252 hp (188 kW / 256 PS) and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque mated to a six-speed manual transmission. It goes 0-100kph (0-62mph) in 5.7 seconds before hitting a top speed of 152mph (245kph). It is only available in Glacier White metallic livery and also features black accents, dual exhaust, gloss black roof with huge wing and white 18-inch turbine design alloy wheels.

A total of 333 units of the Audi A1 quattro are being made available to purchase and only 19 of these are being made in left-hand-drive for the UK where pricing starts at £41,020 OTR.

I don't know which is uglier, the Audi A1 or the BMW 1 series... what's happening with car designers?! :S

Just beautiful! I'm sure my A3 also could drift nicely in the snow, but with the Quattro badges just looks awesome! I want some of those! :P
