BMW M Performance Parts and Original Accessories announced for Geneva [video]

As tuning firms around the globe sell aftermarket styling and performance parts for BMW models, the Bavarian auto wants to catch up, especially since it's their own vehicles. In recent years, the aftersales products offered by BMW have been decent, but this year BMW is making a big push.

BMW has three new canvasses, the 1-, 3- and 5-Series, to work with, and as a result have announced a brand new line of Original BMW Accessories and BMW M Performance Parts programs ahead of their Geneva Motor Show public debuts in early March.

The Original BMW Accessories program offers all three trim lines (Sport, Modern or Luxury) with interior items such as all weather floor mats, color matched emergency brake handle, key fobs and rear storage and backrest bags. Outside, a lockable roof box or a snowboard holder is available plus a range of 20-inch wheels and fitted indoor/outdoor car covers.

For the BMW driving enthusiast M Performance Parts program provides increased performance and sportier styling with an aerodynamic package (front fascia with integrated splitter, diffuser inserts for the rear apron and side sills with M Performance inscription), 19-inch ro 20-inch light alloy wheels, brake system and top stripes. Other components include a rear spoiler, rear fins, carbon exterior mirror caps and black kidney grilles. Interior components include BMW M Performance steering wheel with Race Display, interior strips in Alcantara/carbon, BMW M Performance stainless steel pedals and the gearshift lever knob and handbrake handle with Alcantara gaiter.

The BMW M Performance Parts will roll out in the USA beginning this summer. BMW M Performance Parts and Original Accessories can be purchased and installed through authorized BMW dealers.

Very, Very Nice. Classy individuality without looking too "yobbish". I like. (3series Package looks best in my opinion)

Wow that 3-series is hot! It's extremely sporty and a bit futuristic like the i8.
