Aston Martin V12 Zagato in motion [video]

The first images and details of the new Aston Martin V12 Zagato were released last week. They have now followed up with a new promotional video that glorifies the model. Making its world premiere at the Kuwait Concours d' Elegance which began on Febrary 15th, the V12 Zagato celebrates the 50th anniversary of DB4GT Zagato.

Each unit takes roughly 2,000 man hours to complete and boasts a 6.0-liter V12 engine that generates 510 bhp (380 kW / 517 PS) and 570 Nm (420 lb-ft) of torque. Along with the six-speed manual transmission, V12 Zagato accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds before hitting a top speed of 305 km/h (190 mph).

Production will be limited to a maximum 150 units and pricing begins at £330,000 with sales due to begin later this year.

Is it just me or did the first reveal not have a rear spoiler? Or is that a retractable contraption, a la LF-A?

There was a version shown which had no rear wing. It was far nicer as the fixed wing ruins the lines in my opinion. Besides, for such a high asking price a retractable wing should have been the way to go.

Front is just like all others AM. Nothing to see there and that is a shame. The back is much much nicer.

 GRAVE GRAVE
It's a V12 Vantage with a re-designed rear and different seats and special stetching. Really doesn't deserve the price given to it. Nothing special about this car at all
