Subaru announces Euro-spec BRZ and Impreza 5-door for Geneva
Subaru BRZ Euro-spec 10.02.2012

Subaru has announced the BRZ sport coupe and Impreza 5-door will make their European debuts at the Geneva Motor Show on March 6.

Following its world premiere at the Tokyo Auto show in November last year, the BRZ is rolling out in Japan now. The US market has announced to launch in spring, but we'll have to wait until its unveiling in Geneva to find out about European pricing and market launch date although we expect it will happen in the summer.

The Subaru BRZ is a 2+2 sport compact coupe co-developed with Toyota. Along with its Toyota twin, the GT 86, it features a front-engine, rear-wheel drive layout powered by a Subaru developed horizontally opposed 2.0-liter engine producing 200 PS (147 kW / 197 hp) and 205 Nm (151 lb-ft) of torque.

Subaru will also show for the first time a European-spec fourth generation Impreza 5-door. The global car will be equipped with a 1.6-liter petrol boxer engine. Further details and pricing will be announced in Geneva.

The car is the same, but if you look carefully the body is diferent and I can understand Julle85. Because me too I find the Subaru looks better, and also I prefer the Subaru badge & image of sportyness than the Toyota one.
