Ferrari Aliante Concept envisions extreme two-seat roadster [video]

Last year, Ferrari held a World Design Contest that was open to automotive designers to create a Ferrari of the future. One such creation for the event was the Aliante concept you see before you.

The eccentric two-seat roadster draws its inspiration from the brand's Formula One racing cars as well as their street legal GTs. It features large muscular shoulders that give the concept a seriously angry look while the front fascia has been inspired by the current 458 Italia with its elongated LED headlights.

Will this concept ever make it to production? We can categorically say "NO". It is not official and only provides speculative look into the future of the Italian brand through the eyes of student designers.
