The previous reports were true; Audi has announced the more powerful TT-RS Plus.

Max output is now 360 HP (265 kW) which is an increase of 20 HP (15 kW) and torque is 465 Nm (343 lb-ft), 15 Nm (11 lb-ft) more than the regular TT-RS. The TT-RS Plus will launch in April following its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.

Available in both Coupe and Roadster, distinguishing features from the TT-RS include a singleframe radiator grille in polished anthracite with a TT-RS Plus badge. The grille surrounding trim frame has a matt aluminum-look finish while the side mirrors are made of carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP). The Audi RS signature oval dual exhaust pipe tips are done in black. Additionally, valve controlled exhaust regulates engine sound volume and the engine gets carbon fiber trim covers. The gear lever gets trimmed with an aluminum-look ring and a TT RS Plus badge. Audi adds a little flair to the standard 19-inch TT-RS wheels by painting them black with a contrasting red accent on the rim flanges.

The TT RS Plus with S tronic transmission hits 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.1 seconds while manual transmission is a little slower at 4.3 seconds. The Roadster is almost as fast with the same sprint achieved in 4.2 seconds (manual: 4.4 seconds). Both Coupe and Roadster are electronically limited to 280 km/h (174 mph). The Coupe with S tronic averages 8.5L/100 km (27.7 US mpg) fuel consumption and the Roadster uses 8.6L/100 km (27.4 US mpg).

Price for the TT RS Plus Coupe in Germany with manual transmission is €60,650 or €62,800 with the seven-speed S tronic. The TT RS Plus Roadster costs €63,500 or €65,650 respectively.

I think it looks brilliant and those figures are impressive! It could have been faster, but then it would be stepping on the toes of the R8.

Slightly disappointed they only added 20 horsepower, but if the R8's only a stone's throw away (performance-wise), then it makes sense I guess.

Really nice but .. come on, this engine can stand +400HP. They should have push it a little bit more for this "plus" version.

TT-RS Plus: 0-100 KMH in 4,1 Sec, Audi R8 V8 does is in 4,6 Sec, the 5.2 V10 in 3,9 Sec I think it would be funny, when a R8 Driver is losing against a TT :) But i think, the TT could be even faster

Does are factory claim. Best time what Audi R8 V8 hits 0-100km/h 4.2 sec, Audi R8 V10 3.7 sec. And best time what Audi TT-RS (340hp) hits 0-100km/h is 3.9 Sec. I think this new Audi TT-RS plus hits 0-100km/h better than 4.1 sec. http://fastestlaps.com/cars/audi_tt-rs_coupe.html
