Morgan are planning to hit the Geneva Motor Show pretty hard with a few new models. One of which will be the Aero Coupe and the first pictures and details have risen from the deep for your enjoyment today.

The model is essentially a full production version of the AeroMax Coupe which was first shown to the public in 2006 as a one-off model before eventually getting a limited 100 unit production fun in 2008.

The new Aero Coupe is based on Morgan's GT3 Aero race car. It is powered by a BMW-sourced 4.8-liter V8 engine that generates up to 390 hp ( 290 kW/ 395 PS) and rides on a lightweight platform. The body and chassis are made from aluminum which results in an expected kerb weight of less than 1175 kg (2600 lbs).

Specifications amount to an admirable power ratio of 320 hp per tonne and allows the coupe to accelerate from 0-100 kph (0-62 mph) in 4.5 seconds before hitting a top speed of 273 kph (170 mph).

i appreciate your problem , gents . it all due to the heavy-handed application of High Dynamic Range processing to the image which made the photos surreal in appearance .
