Nissan has released video of a demonstration race which pits the Juke-R against a Lamborghini Gallardo, Mercedes SLS AMG and Ferrari 458 Italia around a make-shift 0.58km race course at the Dubai International Marine Club.
The demonstration race was brought about in support of the Dubai 24 Hours race in which the Juke-R was the official pace car.
Earlier this month we first reported the event with amateur footage that communicated the Juke-R's abilities well enough. Now, with this close up multiple camera footage of the track side action, as well as from a helicopter, the Juke-R's performance is even more apparent.
The Juke-R is the unholy union of a Nissan GT-R powertrain with an extensively modified Nissan Juke chassis. The all-wheel drive Juke-R produces 485 bhp (362 kW / 492 PS) and can accelerate from 0-62mph (0-100kph) in just 3.7 seconds and hit a top speed of 160mph (257kph).
The driver of the winning Juke-R was Lucas Ordonez - winner of the inaugural Nissan GT Academy in 2008 and podium finisher in last year's Le Mans 24 Hours.
