MINI to launch three new models - report
Will be based on the UKL platform
In a recent interview, MINI CEO Kay Segler confirmed plans to launch three new models by the end of the decade.
He declined to go into detail, but told Automotive News the models will likely be based on BMW's front-wheel drive UKL platform which will also underpin the next-generation Cooper.
It remains unclear what the vehicles will be, but previous reports have indicated the company will launch a production version of the Rocketman concept in 2014.
MINI is also slated to launch a Countryman Coupe in early 2013. Previewed by the Paceman concept, the production model will have aggressive styling and a sloping roofline.

i absolutely love the Rocketman concept although i'm not sure about the name. the Rocketman will be smaller than the current Mini but bigger that the old one which seem like a logical idea for road safety reasons. Please please put the Rocketman into production, it will be a winner.
