Marking the entrance of the eccentric Italian coachbuilder to the U.S. market, Castagna Milano has turned to the Fiat 500 once again for three special limousine conversions.
Built in three different versions: LimoSun, LimoCity and a LimoCity Presidential, the sub-compact city car has been stretched in length to 5.32 meters compared to the 3.5 meters of the standard version. Wheelbase has increased from 2.3 meters to 4.1 meters. Height also raises from 149cm to 158cm in the CityLimo.
The LimoSun is based on the Fiat 500 convertible and gives new meaning to the landaulet. Targeted to beach resorts and the Middle East, the LimoSun passenger area has four seats facing each other. The large openings in the sides and roof can be closed with transparent panels.
The LimoCity is a closed version and features a circular sofa couch, mini-bar, electric sliding doors.
The LimoCity President starts with a Fiat 500 version made for the U.S. market and is powered by two electric motors capable of reaching 100 mph (160 km/h) with a range of 250 km.
