Short film with supermodel Lara Stone and Mercedes SL roadster released

As part of the Mercedes-Benz 2012 "Icons of Style" campaign, a short film just released starring supermodel Lara Stone and the 2013 SL Roadster merges luxury auto, fashion and the surreal.

Described as "Mary Poppins meets The Wizard of Oz meets James Bond," the fantasy short titled Lara Stone: American Fairytale was filmed in the desert outside of Los Angeles.

Wearing an outfit designed by Calvin Klein's Francisco Costa, the Dutch model plays a modern-day Dorothy swept away by a tornando.

American photographer and filmmaker Alex Prager says she wanted to give "the impression that Lara is going somewhere interesting, off on a secret mission tucked away in those suitcases."

Prager impressed with Stone says, "Being strapped into a harness with fans and rain blowing in all directions isn't the most fun thing to do, but she seemed to be enjoying herself and looking totally beautiful throughout."
