Lincoln MKZ Concept literally smokes on show floor [video]

Much to the embarrassment of the Lincoln executives who had just unveiled their model. The new MKZ concept was looking less than the well-oiled machine they would have us think it is.

As this video shows, the model starts to smoke in full view of much of the world's media. Unfortunately for Lincoln a keen eyed cameraman from the Detroit Free Press was there to capture the moment on video.

"With the Lincoln MKZ Concept, we are not introducing a new car. We are essentially introducing a new brand," said Derrick Kuzak, Ford Motor Company group vice president for Global Product Development.

Hopefully this new brand has better reliability than the MKZ concept.
